a pop of color

Okay, So It took me awhile to update this one... My apologies folks! Just been busy lately with a lot bigger  responsibilities up my plate. I'm not complaining though.

The set below is a my take on the Amish chic dressing whose influences is prevalent in the fall/winter collections of most major fashion houses this season. The main palette  for this set is forlorn and was quite conventional thus I discerned to add some pop of colors to make it more uhmn, oh well-- pop! hehe..

Big THANKS to the artistic eye of  Mr. Ben Tui for taking this wonderful set before he left for the US of A. Thank you. Thank you and I shall see you again my friend!

DIY bejewelled shoe and all it takes is a bit of imagination..
The Military inspired top I got from Suanlum night market in a Bangkok trip with my sister some years ago..

Amish Hat, to spice the look a bit.
Drop Crotch Pants by Forever21. Yes I got it at the women's section and why not?
Some pop of colorful baubles and whatnot's to complete the look..

Thank you to Mr. Ben Tui again for shooting me.

Don't go chasing waterfalls

I hear the deafening roar of a landscape centerfold
Approaching, I am scared of watching a truth, unfold
As I feel my life gushing like a freshly opened wound
Watery thoughts rush into my head, as I am attuned
Closer and closer, I feel the thunderous quake beneath
The earth shakes as I am blinded by its grinding teeth
All senses are tuned to the sound of the great waterfall
Nothing but down, down, into the abyss below, I must call
Millions of gallons per second, an unfathomable measure
Channeling from the mountains far away, at its great leisure
But inside, I feel a calm overcome and take root in my soul
Where the water runs its deepest, I feel akin to its control
poetry by Jon Coe

Channeling, structured versus fluidity that has long been a signature of Damir Doma.
This set would be my take on it.

White button down by Bench, Charcoal Drape top by Lord Maturan, Skirt+Shorts=Skorts by Mental, Gladiator mandals by Rusty Lopez, Various Trinkets accumulated thru time.
