a pop of color

Okay, So It took me awhile to update this one... My apologies folks! Just been busy lately with a lot bigger  responsibilities up my plate. I'm not complaining though.

The set below is a my take on the Amish chic dressing whose influences is prevalent in the fall/winter collections of most major fashion houses this season. The main palette  for this set is forlorn and was quite conventional thus I discerned to add some pop of colors to make it more uhmn, oh well-- pop! hehe..

Big THANKS to the artistic eye of  Mr. Ben Tui for taking this wonderful set before he left for the US of A. Thank you. Thank you and I shall see you again my friend!

DIY bejewelled shoe and all it takes is a bit of imagination..
The Military inspired top I got from Suanlum night market in a Bangkok trip with my sister some years ago..

Amish Hat, to spice the look a bit.
Drop Crotch Pants by Forever21. Yes I got it at the women's section and why not?
Some pop of colorful baubles and whatnot's to complete the look..

Thank you to Mr. Ben Tui again for shooting me.

Don't go chasing waterfalls

I hear the deafening roar of a landscape centerfold
Approaching, I am scared of watching a truth, unfold
As I feel my life gushing like a freshly opened wound
Watery thoughts rush into my head, as I am attuned
Closer and closer, I feel the thunderous quake beneath
The earth shakes as I am blinded by its grinding teeth
All senses are tuned to the sound of the great waterfall
Nothing but down, down, into the abyss below, I must call
Millions of gallons per second, an unfathomable measure
Channeling from the mountains far away, at its great leisure
But inside, I feel a calm overcome and take root in my soul
Where the water runs its deepest, I feel akin to its control
poetry by Jon Coe

Channeling, structured versus fluidity that has long been a signature of Damir Doma.
This set would be my take on it.

blue

I have seen enough blue-green
for one day. My eyes are tired
of peering at the busy speckled lines
the lasered surface throws back.
Outside, the light falls
in jagged needles through raveled air.
The world is gray.
From up there, it’s blue,
the tiny water world, where life
climbed into the air and turned green,
maybe from envy that it’s not
somewhere else. It’s not easy, being
this way. It’s impossible to rest
with that great light going on
and off always in the same place,
knowing that it’s necessary,
unless you want to turn
white, in icy quiet,
against the black still motion
of the tattered specks of stars.
It’s enough to send you running
ragged, back to the sea.
Down there it’s blue, too,
the color of deep water
when at eighty feet there’s no bottom
and no sides to choose. Suspended,
up-ended, you have no sense
of proportion, lose perspective.
There’s only drifting with the flow,
until your bubbles rip a seam
upward showing you where
you have to go—back to the green,
and then the yellow and the red,
measured out in time for you
to find, until you reach
white, and you’ve got it all.
All is too much to see.
We must have shades.
The separation of the light
exists somewhere in particles,
torn into fragmentary bits to play,
scattered like the fall leaves,
but moving in waves—hello, goodbye—
on a collision course with white,
and black, and gray.
The green of life requires blue,
not too deep or too intense,
just a line of blue-green held in mind,
to knit tatters of shrouded days,
tint the darkness,
and relieve the time of glare

Once in a while
you know where it belongs,
in the order of the sharp-edged
double bow I saw this morning,
cutting its way into gray memory
to even up the edges
of the ragged clouds.

oasis. desert.

In your eyes I saw only trails. Though you said  you did not want to lead me--
You said this reaching back for my hand.

We walked into a fevered desert

Out where clouds rise then disappear,
Out where I could not see

Your caring for me was a choice
I could not make.

Still we continued
Beyond contradiction

My doubt, my desire.....

Sifting into the sand....

About this set:

My first style entry.

I have decided to keep the words short and have more of the visuals.

Got my Riccardo Tisci Rottweiler sweater, which is nothing short of divine! Been lusting over it since it came out of the runway, seasons ago.

Finally its mine.

Orgasmic.
